Songs for the Apocalypse is based in the United States, NEW YORK, NY— Songs for The Apocalypse’s debut album ‘A Strange Strangeness Has Occurred’ is bewildering and exciting to many ears. The collaboration of members Mahaut Brooks and Mason Nayyar brings out the band's interesting mix of hip hop, alternative, and indie-pop music.

"Shadow" is our most poppy single on our band, Songs for the Apocalypse's first EP: A Strange Strangeness Has Occurred. Dance-y drums, catchy melodies and hooks, and original story telling lyrical content about a tale of a man's lover being jealous of his affair with the ghost of his widow, and she begins to develop feelings for her as well.

It makes sense that all of the musicians— well only the two, Mason the producer
and Mahaut on the vocals and with the ideas, are New York natives. Few debut albums- especially not ones produced on a laptop computer with a USB microphone- have had this capacity before. Songs for the Apocalypse plans to do shows soon and continue their musical journey, apparently working on another project already.
