Paulus POTTERS is an artist and composer, jazz, pianist, and singer-songwriter, from Netherlands. Paulus POTTERS started at the age of 7 years with a recorder and switched as a teenager in grammar school learning piano.

After a while of studying musicology at the University of Utrecht and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tilburg, he graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory in piano and arranging in 1986. 

In 1991, Paulus POTTERS won several awards for his compositions at the "BILLBOARD SONG CONTEST" in Oklahoma U.S.A. The members of the jury were Julio Iglesias, Jose Feliciano, and Frank Zappa. Next to his trio he also occasionally performs with his pop-jazz/fusion group the Paulus Potters Band.

As a composer, Paulus is very diverse and writes not only jazz but also pop and classical compositions. His choir piece "St. Augustinus suite" was performed in Russia by a prestigious Dutch chamber choir. It was also used for the Dutch historical movie "Recht van wind".

Paulus POTTERS cooperated with an international choregrapher and wrote the ballet music "Lost in the city". His music was also taken for a TV series documentary and that series went all over the world.

Paulus POTTERS has been sharing his time between Holland and France where he participates also in jazz festivals like "Jazz à Domergue" in Cannes. You can listen to and download his CDs on the iTunes store.
