Ollie Joseph is a rapper, and songwriter — who emerged from the mid-Michigan area, releasing his first single, “How It’s Going Down” to all stream-able platforms. Exposed to many genres of music as a child, the Tokyo, Japan-born artist has since cultivated his own versatile catalog of singles.

In late 2016, Ollie Joseph’s output of songs range from swaggering modern hip-hop anthems, to melodic ballads that are sure to hit you right in the feels.

Ollie Joseph’s worldly experience has given him the upper hand in differentiating himself from the typical hip-hop artist. Having traveled to over 20 countries, the now Los Angeles-based emcee’s songs are inspired by circumstances not many his age have gone through. With the goal of releasing two tracks per month, Ollie is just getting started.

"Most girls have had run-ins with jealous guys and can relate to always being checked in on. "do ur thing" encompasses the opposite. Us guys should want whoever we're with to have as much fun as possible while being out. The girls shouldn't worry about what we're up to either. It's a win-win for both parties. This sing-along-able smash is littered with catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and vibey instrumentation. Summer's right around the corner and this jam fits perfectly with the time of year.” -Ollie Joseph

Now more than ever people are looking for music they can vibe to. That experience of music that goes beyond a nice listening session, but something that makes a true connection with the people to the point they feel it all, as the emotion as well as care put into the music grabs a hold of you for every second. In a time when it’s hard to sort through all the countless releases, it’s those types of records that always have a way of standing out and Ollie Joseph brings that type of music on the new song “Do ur Thing”.

Ollie Joseph blurs genres with indie and hip-hop-influenced blend that incorporates pop, country, and electronic textures. Born and raised in Japan, Ollie grew up in a military family, moving every three years they eventually settled in the United States - living in Florida.

Ollie attended Michigan State where he earned his bachelor's degree in Advertising. Influenced by Russ, Mike, and Sam Hunt - Ollie released his first song, “How It’s Going Down” in 2016, then moved to Los Angeles the following year. Ollie released his popular single, Mexico in 2018, eventually garnering over 3 million streams.

He was later featured on Sammy Arriaga’s “Something We Can Dance To” along with Charlotte Sands. 2 EP’s and 75 singles later he has gained a dedicated following and is building an impressive body of work that takes you on an unforgettable journey.
