Pook Hustle is a talented artist based in the USA. In a world full of distractions, Pook Hustle has found a way to focus on originality, craftsmanship and making music with a message. When his career as a student athlete didn't go as planned, Pook found new excitement in pursuing his interest in songwriting.

It’s on this new playing field that the Hustle-man’s captivating lyrics paired with a deep, smoky voice has been garnering attention from publications such as Lyrical Lemonade, Respect Magazine, Earmilk and many more.

Pook Hustle has set out to showcase his unique and signature sound in his latest infectious offering ‘Pook Hustle. The single is a melting pot of hypnotising choruses and atmospheric verses. Heart warming piano lines creating a colourful canvas of different melodies, whilst his vocals and bars land on top - softly penned but impactful and soaked in pop sensibilities.

Drums lay in the bottom, grooving whilst cutting through the mix and reverbarting energy around the track. Speaking further about the release, Pook Hustle reveals: “As an artist, I normally sit on beats for months but when “WhatsHisNamesent the instrumental for C.R.E.A.M, I instantly got to work. Well sort of. I couldn’t write sitting still so I decided to ride my bike to Downtown, Brooklyn and next thing I knew, the words just started flowing. The hook was so catchy and fun that I instantly knew I had to contact singer/comedian “Angela Star” to be a part of the record.

It’s one of his favorite sessions to this day because it was so much fun and his normal “Hustleman” approach to recording became play. He loves creative writing so on “C.R.E.A.M”, He used visualization to take the listener on a journey into an experience at a strip club.

C.R.E.A.M” is acronym popularized by the group “Wu-Tang” but Pook Hustle’s record symbolizes the opposite of the rigid idea of masculinity men are expected to represent. “I’m well aware that we have been conditioned to view strippers as sex symbols.” On “C.R.E.A.M”, Pook Hustle takes us on a journey into an experience at a strip club.

He uses an electronic/dance infused instrumental as his canvas while painting a vivid picture with his lyrical storytelling ability. The 4-minute record is full of surprises including a rare feature from singer/comedian Angela Star, piano chords, synths, and breakbeat but the best part is where the story takes an interesting turn in the second verse. “C.R.E.A.M” is the second single off of his upcoming debut project/mixtape “Hustle Mode” executive produced by Mark Boucher Jr. & Pook Hustle.

However, these obstacles happen to be for the greater good. Pook Hustle’s first dream was to play basketball, however, he didn’t receive a scholarship to go to college to play. He instead found himself moving back to Brooklyn and working in retail to support his family. He started creating and making music in a way to escape from reality, however, he’s found himself in a situation where his sound is really taking off.

Pook Hustle works around Dance music, Hip-hop, Rap in English, R&B, Trap, and Urban pop.
