In BROOKLYN, N.Y. – November 1, 2022 – Travis Sayles, who has more than 2 billion streams as a producer and who has performed with some of the industry’s top musicians, is thrilled to announce the release of his first single, “Time Awaits,” which is now available on all platforms.

Time Awaits” is a calm, smooth lo-fi hip hop/chill hip hop/jazz tour de force. The song has layers of Rhodes piano, organ, and piano with an upbeat hip-hop drum feel. Sayles, who is also known by his stage name Travesty, is an American multi-platinum producer, musician, singer, songwriter, and artist.

He is currently on tour with Grammy Award-winner Maxwell and has played with him for 12 years. Among his recent credits, Sayles produced three songs on Chris Brown’s latest album, “Breezy,” and produced the recently released Backstreet Boys Christmas album, “A Very Backstreet Christmas.”

A professional musician since age 16, Sayles has played on some of the world’s greatest stages during his career. He was personally asked to play for President Barack Obama alongside Maxwell. He has headlined at Madison Square Garden and played at the 2010 Grammy Awards show.

Sayles has played with hundreds of artists, including Joe, Ashanti, Angie Stone, Soulja Boy, Mario, Fantasia, Avant, Kelly Rowland, Ryan Leslie, Cheetah Girls, Chrisette Michelle, Roberta Flack, and Chris Brown. He has worked and produced for artists like T.I, Meek Mill, Polo G, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, the Backstreet Boys, Avant, Meaghan Trainor, and others.

Sayles has production credits on Bieber’s single “Die In Your Arms” and Nickelodeon’s “Rags” soundtrack for the songs “Stand Out,” “Not So Different At All” and “Better Than This.” “Rags” received 3.5 million viewers during its premiere with an 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The soundtrack peaked at number one on the iTunes soundtrack albums chart and number 3 on the Top 100 albums on the iTunes chart. On May 24, 2012, Bieber announced via Twitter that the first promo single from the album “Believe,” which was produced by Rodney Jerkins, Dennis Aganee Jenkins, and Sayles, would be “Die in Your Arms.” Released to iTunes on May 29, 2012, it peaked at number one on the Top 100 albums and iTunes chart. Sayles is releasing his next single, “Heart Of The City,” later this fall.
